Exiciting beach, especially during dawn. Fishermen return to the beach after a night's fishing offshore.

You can help them hoist their fishing boat onto the beach

Beautiful beach area, clean sand, blue waters and all the facilities necessary for tourists to enjoy their time here. Sun lounges and umbrellas were already set up and waiting, boat operators' hopeful of getting a fare from our fellow excursionists. Monday was not the busiest, but we were told weekends are a packed house with revelers from Ho Chi Mihn City.

The whole length of the back beach is littered with rubbish and other plastics, it is quite disgusting. I would go for walks daily during my two weeks here, but I literally had to walk around and constantly be vigilant so as not to step on rubbish, which was practically everywhere. The Vietnamese don’t seem to have a firm grasp or care in the world (generally, I know there are environmentalists, but they are the minority) of environmental issues or care that their main beach is so disgustingly littered with garbage. I found it quite depressing as they continue to dispense plastic like it’s going out of fashion.

Plastic and other waste littered the beach at high tide in the evening. Flip flops, plastic bags, masks, some op theatre gloves. I was very disappointed with the high tide crap. A clear indication of how people are ruining this planet very windy when I was there, which was nice. Reminded me of west of Ireland beaches in winter. A horrible disco thing is on the end of the beach blaring strobe lights in the evening. Apart from that, the locals are around and in good mood. Nice people, pity about the crap

Nice beach, had a good time here, although with the wind the water was very choppy............big enough to accommodate all the large crowds.......

Nice quiet beach daytime, but mobbed by locals once the sun gors down. Very shallow for hundreds of metres so huge beach at low tide. Very clean sand, but watch your exposure time if sun bathing, as the sin is very strong, so maximum 30 minutes is advised!!

Definitely the best and closest beach to go to if you visit Saigon. Only 90-120 minutes away from Saigon, accessible by boat, bus or van service. Lots of nice hotels, restaurants and coffee shops. The perfect place to escape from busy and lively Saigon.

It's a lovely asian beach complete with sling chairs to hire and blow up toys for children. remember the flags don't tell you not to swim at all but rather stay away from this spot. The Jolly Roger flags are trying to identify to swimmers that there is a hazard in that spot. Swim where there are no Jolly Rogers and you are as safe as your own capabilities will keep you .
