Really cool to ride up there on a motorbike, though we saw a lot of fit people walking up.
You can no longer go inside the lighthouse, but the views of Vung Tau are amazing, Best spot for sunset watching.

After a nice asphalt road you reach the top of a hill where it is located the light house of Vung Tau. The views are great and it is a very popular stop for all visitors of the city. Definitely a must. You must go!

This was definitely a worthwile excursion! The walk was a nice powerwalk, but with better view than the hike to the Jesus statue. Well at the top there is a wide square for viewing the city and the sea side in all directions. Great spot for watching the sunset. And the walk back down is lit, so no need to worry about darkness. Also, sweet restaurant on the way and easy to get a Grab, if you prefer.

You get a good view of the city and beach, Grest place to take photos of your loved ones. There are also many spots for picnics and photos on the drive up.
The road is bad in spots but just keep going

Vung Tau Lighthouse is unsurprisingly on the top of Small Mountain. It can be found by following the Hai Dang Street from Ha Long. Its a long windy path taking some delightful views, passing coffee shops, yogurt shops and young romantic couples posing for their selfies. The lighthouse also has a newly opened museum which is fascinating. If you like some exercise, it's definitely worth doing a walk up, otherwise jump on your bike to a spectacular view all across Vung Tau City,

Located on the top of Small Mountain.
Included the excellent view from lighthouse and superb views of sea and town when you reach the top.
* Should stop over for a drink on the way up / down during the sunset / sunrise time.

I have been there at sunrise and sunset and it was amazing at any time. You can go there walking but if a quiet long way, better with a motorbike if you got one.

Great Views, you should take a taxi or motor bike up. Too long and dangerous to walk. Great anytime of the day.

You can reach this place approximately 2 hours journey by car from the city. Situated on top of the hill, so make sure your driver knows how to drive on such a narrow road. Nothing much in here, just a scenery from the top that you can view entire city.

em muốn tìm khách sạn hoặc homestay chổ lưu trú lại gần ngọn Hải Đăng hoặc có thể từ phòng có view ngắm cảnh thiên nhiên bên ngoài được ạ

Nếu lên ngọn hải đăng thì mất bao nhiêu cây số ? (từ chân đến đỉnh)

Hi. Can anyone advise whether is it possible to walk from the Jesus Statue to the lighthouse via the ridgeline? I've only been to the Jesus Statue. It would be interesting to walk a big round - up to the statue, walk along the ridgeline to the lighthouse and then down to the road. Thank you.

In the guide book it says it's military land and when we asked the locals they said no you can't so you have to walk on the main road to the lighthouse which is the long way round, which is what we ended up doing.
