The island is more interesting if you observe it from the road that surrounds the Vung Tau peninsula than in fact if you visit it. The way to the island it is only possible at low tide through a very slippery rocks path and once...More

A small island which can be visited in low tide. Beware of the slippery rocks. It has nothing to offer in fact, just a sort of small temple.

very slippery rocks track available only in low tide. Beware or you may fall and break a bone. Once in the island there's almost nothing to see but the view towards Vung Tau and the beach is nice

We saw the island "floating" in the ocean (as islands do) but noticed a temple on it and wondered "how do you get there?" After some research and tide chart analysis, we set our clocks for wee early in the morning on a day when...More

Our group went there in the low tide when the moon is round. We have great time here with many beautiful pictures. Will come back whenever we come to Vung Tau

Nice view for some photos but nothing really special. Put on good shoes when you walk out because it's rocks all the way and check when the tide is low

You will have to look up the Tide table for the Vungtau area and see when it is low tide. There us no fixed "best" time to go to the island because the tidetimes are constantly shifting.
