Must see if you are in the area. Clean city, wide streets, great people (if you can find someone that speaks your language). English is NOT spoken by most tourist supporting services or can drivers

A climb of 811 steps but worth it to see the statue. Down side nothing open nowhere to get drinks, rubbish everywhere tables and chairs just randomly placed half broken. Needs some attention.

A nice long climb up to the top, take water with yah. Once on top, a great ocean view. Prepare for weather change.

A great place for sightseeing, and workout as well as you have to climb a lot to reach the landmark. It is definitely an amazing visit, so do not miss it when you visit Vung Tau city.

Or else you won't be able to enter the statue itself and climb up to enjoy panoramic views of the town. I think it'll suck if you climbed up already in long pants, but it's doable. Also bring water, because it's a long way up....More
