A great historical town kherson. Very strategically located and beautiful environs along dnepier river.WISH Dnepier was navigable and river cruise to kiev restarted.strongky reccomend visiting this gateway to crimea

Part of history of Kherson, 200+ years old. Has used as museum during Soviet Era, now returned back to Ortodox church. Must see.

St. Catherine's Cathedral as built in 18th century. The legend says that it was built for her Magesty Kathrin The Great to spend one night while she was traveling throug Kherson city. Later on this building become as a church which is working till now....More

One of the nicer churches of Kherson.Good to see locals worshipping.Easy to get to by walking.You can withness on going services.18 th century building with some so so frescoes.

Build in 18th century, it was the center of the Kherson fortress. Catherine's II chair and Potemkin' burial inside.
