There is lots of shopping by this park as well as food and drinks. The place is huge, the bathroom costs 5 baght as do quite a few bathrooms but that way you get toilet paper. A trolley does part of the walking for you.

Small temple with one big stupa and plenty of clay elephants around. Located Little bit outside, worth doing some detour due to extra animal features.

This structure hasnt eroded too badly. You can still see the style of it with the elephants that represent the king. Truly magnificent

a great place to visit this , seeing the intricate work that went into the making of this temple is amazing , much of it is still original but the restoration on it blends in well with the old style

Stopped by this wat as I was biking through the countryside outside of the historical park. In a serene area, and a great place to stop for a breather from a long bike ride. Well maintained and unique wat.

Only marginally further afield than the Wat Mahathat, Wat CHang Lom is worth the detour to get there. The elephants have been well preserved and the Wat is still largely in tact. It is easy to sit back and imagine this place centuries ago.

Wat Chang Lom is just behind the Legendha Resort Hotel I stayed at last week. The temple is small but the chedi with the 20-something elephants a very nice place to visit.
