Very interesting sculpture park just a few minutes away from the Maekong River and tourist shopping in Nong Khai. There is also a Buddhist Temple within the grounds. However, its the size and variety of the sculptures that is the main attraction here. A grey...More

I visited Sala Kaew Ku on a trip out from Udon Thani, and I had a great time. The sculptures are huge and very finely detailed. I had a lot of fun walking through the sculpture garden and admiring the intricate designs. I do think...More

This was so cool to me. It’s somewhere you can walk around for about an hour. If you end up in this city, you must do this activity if you care at all about art/sculptures. For tourists, it’s 20 baht each.

This temple is very interesting in making Buddhist goddess images into a sculpture garden. Travelers who do not have background and interest folklore story of Lord Buddha can find the sculpture garden entertaining. It is located only a few kilometers from the center of town....More

I had been there in 2004, and visited again in 2007 after I met a friend in Nong Khai. The place is built by a monk from Myanmar/Burma, and all the statues, for example the "Wheel of Life" are worth to visit. For all Isaan...More

First visit to this temple and the creator for building the Buddha statues were the same guy that build the Laos Buddha Park. Definitely a great place to explore when you at Nong khai.

This is my favorite place to visit in Nong Khai. Around every corner you find something unusual and interesting. The details are what make the place great. You can even buy 10B of stale bread and feed the fish. Don't miss it.

This was an interesting & rather unique park - certainly one of the more unusual attractions in the area and good for a few hours of exploration. The entry cost is 20 baht for foreigners and locals alike.
