No monkeys here, at least not when i visited. Once you have entered there is a large park before you get to the ruins. I had seen enough ruins so i settled down with a cool drink in the cafe by the ticket office.

The ruined palace is well maintained but small. The museum is nice. The ground is clean. We parked our car in the front for free. We spent about one hour and a half at the place.

Walkable historical site in Lopburi town. Children enjoyed running around and reading about the history behind the 12th century temple/palace.

Recommend for family trip . Kids will enjoy the monkey feeding and on the way from Bangkok you have so many spot to stop by. Which nake ur day memorable. Keep phone and glasses and other belongings far from monkey they always try to snatch it. Prefer to take roasted chickpea or banana as monkey love both . Don’t play with monkey.

I was lucky enough to visit on a 'Free' day, so no entrance fee. The palace grounds are nicely manicured, and the small museum is worth a look. You have to walk around to the back to enter the first floor exhibits, but the second and third floor are entered from the front. I was there to see the antique beads, and they were okay, but not as extensive as I would have liked.

Spending around 1 hour out door, walking and appreciating the great grand old place. Visitors can enjoy the ruins especially in the not so sunny day. And spending around 1.30 hours indoor museum.

I walked around this palace, it is obviously very old, many lovely old buildings including a building with the remnants of a balcony where the local ruler at the time used to greet his visiting subjects. Many lovey buildings and a museum.
