We enjoyed our visit to the weekend market amidst beautiful, old buildings. There are plenty of street snacks and quite a few restaurants along the way. There are some souvenir, clothing, toys stalls etc but not as much as I expected. The downside to our...More

Interesting street market. Lots of tasty food, interesting stalls. Not too many foreigners, so prices are reasonable.

Stats 6pm Sat and Sun. Plenty of stalls. Not too crowded. Check out the backed prawns and vermicelli - excellent street food. Classy Gingerbread wooden house art cafe.

Stretches all along Talad Khao and up side streets. Probably about 500m in all. Great variety of very cheap good quality local food which is eaten enthusiastically by local people and visitors alike. Very few farangs so you get a real Thai experience.
