The best way to reach Nangyuan Island from Sairee beach is take a longtail boat for around THB 250 per person for the round trip. Its only a 10-12 minutes ride. They also provide life jackets on the boat. The best time to reach the...More

Nice island for snorkeling. Food and drinks are liitle bit expensive and it is not allowed to lie with your own towel at the beach.

We were told this was a 'must see' but I wouldn't waste your time! The island opens at 10am and closes at 5 I think, so unless you stay on the island (nothing to do and v. Expensive!) then expect it to be busy! We...More

This place is beautiful. The view point is a tough one when its hot but worth the hike. The only thing that upset me was the amount of rubbish that obviously gets washed up on the beach and inbetween the rocks around the island or...More

It's a must-see and you would kick yourself if you would not come home with that picture of the three islands and the beach in between. The place is overrun by tourists, we actually had to wait 40 minutes to get to the viewpoint. Our...More

Wonderful for snorkeling, the water is so clear and the fish are amazing.. the island is so quiet. Better to go in a time that there is no rain or thunders.

Worst experience of our trip! We were there early, but the guy at the pier told us the island 'opened' at 10! At 9:40 AM a few hundred Chinese people, brought by a huge ferry, could go in first (because they'd pay more money)!!! All...More

I have seen pictures of this place for years now, and always wanted to go. I finally got to go see it. Via boat. To scuba dive. That was enough of taste and see for me. All the locals laughed when I brought up wanting...More

Check with songserm or lomphraya as far as boats back to Surat Thani. Honestly your best bet is to go to any travel agency and ask their advice. Super helpful.

I've been told early afternoon from the locals on Koh Tao, due to the large numbers or tourist groups that come early morning. However, it may not make to big a difference if it's not busy season and the islands are not... More

Hello. Possible, but price will be high. Better to use 1-day tour or just go be big ship or fast big boat (2-3 times per day) to Koh Tao and there rent a local taxi boat to Koh Nang Yuan (about 300 Baht in both ways)
