The place is easy to find and we met Janet and Caroline, our yoga teachers. They were friendly and it was a nice experience learning yoga from them. Love their outdoor class in the forest. We enjoyed the 1 hour class very much.

I (no experience) went with a friend (very experienced) and we both had a good yoga session. The teacher was funny and he know what he was doing. It was so nice doing a work out while the sun was setting and just hearing nature. Bring some mosquito spray!

I was in Koh Tao for just over two weeks and once I found grounded my only disappointment was that I hadn't found it earlier! The instructors took the time to learn about who you were as a person and your experience with yoga. Each instructor had a slight different style of yoga which kept the classes unique and fun!... I went into grounded with a deep appreciation for meditation, and ZERO yoga experience. I instantly felt welcomed by the staff member on duty, and left feeling optimistic about trying yoga for the first time later that day. After the session, the instructor mentioned a " detox" program they ran which offered a day of one-on-one coaching in both yoga... More

I love practicing yoga at Grounded -- as well a pilates, and HIIT training, and all the other fun classes they occasionally offer (check their Facebook page for the weekly schedule). While it's not for everyone, I love the outdoor sala and all the jungle sound effects and island breezes it provides. (Definitely consider bug spray, however, as mosquitos do... More

I enjoyed the retreat my group went to these past few days. Being outdoors while doing yoga made the classes memorable and relaxing. I had never done yoga before and this was a nice introduction for me. Talk with Jules (the owner). She's hilarious!

This is a little piece of heaven in Koh Tao. Yoga here is relaxing and outside which I prefer. A beautiful sala is where you practice and the teachers are lovely. As a beginner I did not in anyway feel intimidated or nervous. The teachers all take the class at the right pace and I especially like Glenn's classes as... More

I really really enjoyed my yoga class! It was 90 min and only one other student in the class with me so the instructor was very attentive and let us choose what we wanted to focus on. The location was beautiful. I wish I had more time to come back before I left!

Whilst on koh tao this summer I arranged a private class introduction to meditation via the Grounded Facebook page. Jules was really helpful (and flexible with our booking when I was unwell for our original session). The session was absolutely fantastic, Jules ran through a number of meditation practices as tasters to give us an idea of what would suit... More

I've visited Grounded many times during my stay on the island, but on my last visit I found what I was looking for: Ashtanga practice. Ashtanga is a very strong practice, and definitely not a beginners class. That's the reason why not many yoga schools have it. The teacher was a very nice Spanish girl (I'm sorry, can't remember her... More
