As you would expect, it's unbelievably beautiful! Would maybe recommend going early in the morning before most of the tourists get there as it does get pretty busy in the afternoon!

yes, you can do in low season. I did it in Sep first week. Weather was not very hot and very reasonable. Plus costs were low with less people. Since rain can be a problem, check the forecasts and plan accordingly.
