Take a long boat out to this cove to snorkel in crystal blue water! We paid 1,500 tbt for the two of us to boat to this cove and also maya bay for some snorkelling. Be prepared that if you want to walk onto the beach at either maya or bamboo island a 400tbt fee is required per person. In... More

A tropical paradise with lush vegetation and a sparkling white beach (looks a little less attractive at low tide when all the rocks are exposed). Well worth the visit!

Stunning never seen water this blue. There are always quite a few boats there with people all keen to see so not secluded if that's what you're looking for. Also on our boat tour a lady jumped in and was stung by a jellyfish so maybe best avoided for swimming.

A litter tax is charged upon arrival. It's nominal at 20 baht. The beaches and streets and even the sea is covered in rubbish! Bottles; bottle tops in the sand!, plastic, packets- it's a real shame. There are virtually no bins on the island so it is no wonder there is rubbish everywhere. I wouldn't have minded paying 100, even... More

Well worth a visit. Very crowded and very over-hyped, but an absolute must! We arrived by speed boat from the main land, which was very cheap but again very busy! I really wish we had booked a private long tail boat, but was still a lovely experience. - If you're not good with sea sickness, I'd recommend going in a... More

Staying in Phi Phi is nice location for cruising to all Islands around... my 1st advice : do not hesitate to book a private longtail boat ( for 1 to 8 people - lovers or family- 1500THB for 4 to 6h ). Then you can ask to go where you want, to stop and snorkeling alone without crowded tourists (our... More

You must see it. Yes, it is crowded. Yes, it is over-hyped. Yes, you must pay a tax to the beach troll ... yet still you MUST go. Hire a private speedboat so you can come and go as you like. Snorkeling is dangerous do to crazy boat traffic. The better (and safer) snorkeling was near Monkey Beach at Phi... More

This place is really one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Photogenic scenery, crystal clear water, observing fish, admiring nature.
