Beautiful island and excellent snorkelling here. We just loved it. Warning - the toilets or cesspits as they'd be better described here should be avoided, seriously flooded floors full of urine and faeces.

Stopped here on one of our tours and this was among my favorite stops. The snorkeling here was incredible! Loads of different fish of all sizes and colors, all wandering around coral. This beach wasn't too crowded. Highly recommended.

This island did have a lovely beach. The sand was brilliant white and was quite soft. There are however many islands which have much softer sand! I wasn't sure what to expect, however i was sure that as this island is called Bamboo Island that...More

I enjoyed my swimming and snorkelling here. This beach has corals just close to the shore, thus you can see a lot of fishies even in the shallow waters. Interesting right? fish feeding is not allowed but when we were swimming, there are some people...More

Really a dream of an island, cristalline and warm water, no buildings on the beach, only nature. This was really a perfect place to enjoy a restful moment. Not very crowded with tourists.

Bamboo island is part of the Hat Noppharat Thara National Park and you’ll have to pay the 400 thb general pass to have access (valid for 3 days with the ticket). Be careful with the long tail boat driver that ask for the money and...More

We had lunch on this island and a little swimming time in the highly regulated and regimented 4 stop tour. They need more tables especially since all boat tours stop here to feed their guests. The beach was nice and white though not as smooth....More

Bamboo island tends to be part of a package. There are no amenities there, hence the reason why it’s usually part of a tour. Snorkelling is good but there is a lot of broken coral- expect to pay up to £100 per person with... More
