This was our first stop and we stayed here for an hour.
We had taken really nice photos in this island. There were not too many tourists so we had the opportunity to get the awesome views.
Tho we were not able to swim, still...More
Excellent. Amazing. Beyond the words.
Don't miss the nature of the Phi Phi Islands. It's a beautiful island - crystal clear water, god hand made cliffs, the view despite the gloomy weather couldn’t resist the skyline beauty.
Lovely, simply lovely. It's a must-to-do visit places....More
The sandy beach peninsula surrounded by clear turquoise waters, as well as a bay beach with plenty of tree shade, both were stunning. Light fine sand, amazing water, plenty of tree shade, and a decent toilet facility.
We spent a very happy 90 mins here...More
Bamboo island is beautiful and certainly worth a trip (we had it included in the pirate boat tour). The beach is beautiful but in some parts there are a lot of sharp objects so wear suitable footwear. If you go near sunset you can get...More
Visited at the end of our day trip to the Phi Phi islands and it was the perfect ending. The beach is so beautiful with white powdery sand and crystal clear, warm blue sea. It’s got to be seen to be appreciated.
We didn't spend a lot of time on this island, we did it as part of an island tour. It was a nice island, a little bit more crowded than some of the other islands, but it was nice to see. Nothing super spectacular, but...More
We had a boat tour that took us there but we never got off the boat as when we pulled up to the beach we noticed that it was overcrowded and they told us that we have to pay for using the beach and it...More
Generally a great day trip. Bamboo island itself was beautiful clean white sand with safe swimming area.
The down side is the amount if tourists and the lack of consideration shown for the rules there. No drone signs clearly displayed but ignored by visitors to...More

Bamboo island tends to be part of a package. There are no amenities there, hence the reason why it’s usually part of a tour. Snorkelling is good but there is a lot of broken coral- expect to pay up to £100 per person with lunch going by speedboat from Krabi or Phuket.

We've been in all those places (except mosquito because was already close) last month. Bamboo it's gorgeous for us the most beautiful island of all way more beautiful and less crowded than Maya Bay. You can get long tail boats very easily there is no need to pre book them, every time you pass a Center street there will be people offering to take you anywhere by long tail boat. If you go to Bamboo by long tail it will take you at least 45min which is a long time and super uncomfortable. We did a speed boat tour by Chao Koh Group speed boat. Was actually the most expensive one 1600THB (not expensive for euros conversion) and the money was all worth it! We had 8 people on board on a speed boat that accommodates 25, plenty of space available and it looked like a private tour. Lunch included, fruit all day, bottle water and coke all day too! The crew was amazing! They advertised 3h in Maya Bay but then they told us we would stay there 1h and then go to bamboo island for 3h instead because Maya Bay would be super crowded and they were right! In 30min there was 500 people on a super small beach. We are so glad they took us to bamboo island, it's speechless! Have a nice time there!
