Can swim and also snorkel on the beach. There are plenty of nice restaurants and bars along the beach, yet not crowded with to many people.

This beach was kinda dirty for swimming. It's had run off and a lot of trash entering it. Other than unclear dirty water, the beach itself has a lot of eating options and massage options. The hawkers don't bother you to much, they are kind...More

Stayed 5 mins away from the beach, so had easy access. The beach is accessible to all. Many restaurants all across the beach.

It has trees, so you can spend all day in the shadow. Nice beach restaurants, clean warm water. You can see fish, stars and sea urchings while you swimming.

During a motorcycle trip around the Island I visited all the beaches. While some were more private, Haad Yao Beach was my favorite. It's clean clean clean, no trash, no debris. There are several places to stay, my favorite is Sandy Bay Bungalows as they...More

Haad Yao Beach has a lot of restaurants and bars. If you are looking for nightlife, food, entertainment, dancing, music, they have it. I didn't notice many with live bands during the weeknights (I'm an older family guy so I... More
