How long until this place is turned into the next Lanta, the next Phuket? I give it 10 or 15 years. The road isn't great in the North of the island, but there were already diggers there making progress on paving it. The fundamentals are already there. The beaches, though rocky in places, are wide and long. The topography is... More

This was our fist call in Thailand this year and a new island to try. The island is very small with great beaches, the small village has a supermarket and a couple of shops. If you are looking for a getaway then this is the place to unwind and relax. We will go back.

Very sleepy little island. Many return year after year and for good reason. A place to unwind and unplug. Very tiny town where one can find food, basics (beer, snacks, replenishments, etc), a couple shops carrying the typical touristy items, and visit with the locals. Good choice of budget up to expensive. Food was ok but recommend venturing out of... More

Okay for stopping off and adding another island to the list. Probably not one you would return to but it's perfectly fine for a couple of nights to explore. Beach is so so but perfectly spotless but doesn't have the wow factor and not the best for swimming. Has a remoteness that some may love but not for everyone. Take... More

This is the place if you are looking to relax, need quiet and hear the waves. Beach is beautiful and water is perfect for swimming. Plenty of choices for food and drinks, just a walk on the beach to find them.

we stayed twice at the Ko Jum Beach Villas. Villas are very nice. Food at the restaurant is delicious and not expensive. Dive Center at the Beach Villas is excellent. But there is not a lot to do on this island besides going on dive trips or relax at the beach

This island is really laid back and under developed. Nothing lake the other big islands, this place is clean and low key. Sometimes you are the only one on the beach. We stayed here 5 years ago and this year we decided to do Koh Lanta, had no idea Lanta was so developed and crowded. If you want a nice... More

This is a great little beach, smallish cove, tree lined beach with the odd monkey playing around. A cosy restaurant nestles on the beach, a massage bure and a few palm roofed shelters line up on the sand. So easy to spend the day here, and with a bit of shade on offer is even easier.
