Snorkelling trip. Speedboat picked us up at the beach at our hotel Long Beach Chalet. First stop Koh Rok and since we arrived first the girls had the beach to themselves while we boys did some snorkelling.
Very nice beach. The lunch we got served tasted very good. There is a small kiosk on the island as well. Rangers look after the beach and secure tourists behave accordingly.
Remember to wear sandals/shoes on the floating dock which is VERY hot.

Lovely underwater life to see! Found it a bit crowded with all the different boats even though I was traveling during the Corona scare and tourism was down. I imagine it would be very busy during high season.

A great place to go snorkelling and Scubafish diving. Try to visit the North Side for Snorkelling away from the sometimes busy south side. lots of fish and interesting coral.

Enjoyable trip with a speedboat, picked up in Khlong Khong beach and dropped of on Khlong Dao beach. Well organised but boat was pretty packed as normal. Each place visited was also full of boats so hate to think was it will be like in Jan/ Feb!
Lunch on the island was okay but place was packed with people but did have white sands and clear water.
Did swim the black-tipped sharks was fun.

We did 4 snorkelling spots with TIN tour, picked up from the beach in front of the resort by the boat. There was bunch of people on the boat already, then went to 2 more beaches to picked up 2 couples more. So we were about 30 + on the boat. 1st spot was nice for see fishes, second was not impressed at all for me. Then we had lunch in the island, there were too many people that time so crowded so didnt feel like snorkel around After spent about 1.30 hours we went to last spot. Well not impressing too as not much corals to see. The people fron the travel were funny tho so a bit entertaining.

It is a fine white sand beach that can swim and have coral reefs to the south of the island. At Koh Rok, there are also Sai Sai bay next to Na Thao beach. If it is during low tide, can walk to the beach to reach Sai Sai bay.
Ao Sai Sai has a giant banyan tree, spread to the roots of Sai Sai. And it is worth Notice that the forest in this area is a mixed forest between mangrove forests. Forest, beach and rainforest The front of the bay is a white sand beach, slope. Being fit, suitable for swimming And quite private.

We were on the way to opal travel on a four-island trip. Professional guys did the job. Water for wonderfully bright and stunning fish.

Hello there,
Me and my wife will be staying in ko lanta during January 2017 first week. Regarding the ko rok night camping, is it required an advance booking or could it be done once we are there in ko lanta?
I saw some reviews of night camping at ko rok and day tour to emerald caves as a combined package. If some body can put some light on to that would be great and helpful.
Thanks in advance
Sanu

Did you find out anything about the camping at ko Rok? I'm doing the same thing in Feb and Freedom adventures have offered me to rent a tent?

Is Koh Rok Nok or Phi Phi Islands better for snorkeling?
CuriosityTravels

It depends if you want more coral or more fish. Koh Rok is known for their coral but Phi Phi has more sealife.
Hi,
I'm trying to find out if you can still camp on Ko Rok Nok.
My hotel suggests that the new Thai government has banned camping in national parks? But I'm getting mixed information, the tour providers have said it's still fine to camp on Ko Rok
Also does any one know how to contact the park ranger.
