This may have been declared the best beach on earth, but that is very subjective. We have traveled to most of the inhabited islands in Thailand. This one is nice but probably too hyped. The beach is lovely at high tide but you will have to swim quite a way from the shore to get to the reef. The days we were there we encountered a plankton bloom that ruined the visibility. Low tide is not that attractive. Strewn with rocks and dead coral and shells . Peoples walk all the way out to the edge of the reef to see coral sticking up above the water. You can swim around a bit in 6 inches of water but beware the urchins. It is very difficult to swim around the reef when it is low tide. We saw many people walking on and bumping into coral heads. Very sad. There doesn’t seem to be any education for the throngs of people floating around in life jackets. Hoping the authorities do something about this in the future. There are some. .basic resorts along the edge of Paradise Beach. The food is pretty good. We stayed at Sevenseas resort. The food there was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very nice folks.WiFi was spotty. We had no hot water for shower. Don’t know about the other places. The pool was clean and nice. Not the most beautiful beach we have seen in Thailand, in our opinion.

Still a beautiful island but so sad that all of the coral is now dead. First time I ever came to this island was over 10 years ago and the coral was vibrant, colourful and like off the film ‘finding nemo’ however 10 years later and it is all dead. The main beach was rated no.1 in 2023 but the beach next to this one is covered in plastic and rubbish. This is really sad to see that nobody has done anything about this. You are charged 200bht to get onto the island for them to ‘preserve’ it, but what are they actually doing? Utterly heartbreaking to see.

One of the nicest beaches I've been.
We stayed in Ko Muk for 4 days and we took a private boat to Ko Ngai, Ko Kradan and to the Emerald Cave. We felt in love with the beaches we've seen on Ngai and Kradan and we decided to stay for 2 nights there. We choose Ko Kradan because it felt a little bit less deserted than the other one.
We came on a Saturday and there were a lot of Thays who were there on a trip from different parts of Thailand. But in the afternoon all the boats left and there were very few people left on the island. The next day even fewer. We had the beach almost by ourselves.
We borrowed some snorkeling equipment from our hotel and I can say that you can do good snorkeling around. The corals are not very colorful, but there are a lot of fish to be seen!

We loved Kradan in the past, most recent visit May 2019, but it has changed a lot. WAY more crowded with several huge boats of daytrippers each day coming from Trang that did not happen before.

KBR has AC and all day electricity, Kalume has neither. We stayed at 7 seas before but Mali is without doubt the poshest lodgings and least crowded end of the beach.

Being named one of the world's top beaches 2023 has not done this tiny island any favours. Every day dozens of boats appear, including private boats, long tails and double decker day trippers. Nice that people get to enjoy themselves but patently unsustainable. Rubbish on the beach and the reef swapped with people walking on the coral when tide is low. Now declared a national park but only visible difference is a daily entrance fee

This was such a peaceful and beautiful island. We loved snorkeling and swimming right off the beach in front of Kalume Gardens. Kalume Gardens was wonderful...very chill with great Itialian food and good Thai food. We saw the entire Island but after 6 weeks of traveling we mainly just relaxed here. Sitting down to dinner and watching the moonlight dancing across the water was wonderful. We had perfect weather.

My wife and I travelled to Koh Kradan in March 2020. We have stayed on this wonderful island before at Sevenseas Resort.
What a wonderful getaway. No roads or cars or bikes just sand and the beautiful ocean.
The Resort is nice and clean and the most popular on the island. There isn't too many places to stay on Koh Kradan but I can recommend this Resort.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is good and dinner is amazing with sizzling prawns.
The island has the bluest water and white sands with palm trees . Very good place to relax for older couples or young families.
Really good for snorkeling or getting a suntan.

A small car-free island that has amazing corals, reefs and beaches.

Reataurants are nice and the island is small which gives it a quaint and non-overcrowded vibe.

Beautiful, clear and turqoise water with high and low tides.

One of our favourites!

We stayed for 5 nights at The Seven Seas Resort on Koh Kradan. The island is exceptionally peaceful with beautiful views and a reef just off the beach for great snorkelling. There are no roads or shops and just the bar/restaurants of the small hotels. We were very pleased to have stayed at The Seven Seas which is the most luxurious of the hotels. Would definitely stay there again.

Love this island. Have been there on a couple of day trips but this time we stayed for a week. Love the proximity to the reef for snorkeling, during low tide you can walk almost all the way to the reef. We spent several hours on the reef every day.
You can also walk to the nearby beaches during low tide but beware of the high tide which comes in fast.
Even though high season it never felt crowded.
The food is excellent and there are surprisingly many italian dishes which also were good.
