We were warmly welcomed to our Ayutthaya Highlights cycle tour (even though we were late) and bikes were ready, seats adjusted and in great condition. Helmets and drinking water were provided. Our guide Omelette speaks excellent English and led us on a wonderful tour. She fully safety briefed us and cycled at an easy pace with clear signalling. We didn't ever feel unsafe even on the bigger roads. Omelette was super knowledgeable and seemed happy to answer all of our many many questions - thank you Omelette! The tour really was the highlights and we stopped at little local places off the beaten track too. At the end there were cold drinks and cold face towels to refresh us, which were very welcome. The price was comparable to the tours we found online, but much more personal and we went at our own pace - highly recommended!

This review has been a long time coming but they really deserve it!
We visited Ayutthaya during our honeymoon in January 2023 and we had a wonderful time thanks to our lovely guide Boong.
My husband was very stressed about the upcoming day but as soon as she picked us up from our hotel in Bangkok she made us feel completely at ease. We took a train to Ayutthaya and then we hopped on a tuk tuk to their office. From there we hopped on some bikes and Boong took us to various temples of the UNESCO site and a to local market. We had a boat cruise, a delicious lunch, and a coconut drink that we still dream about!
Boong was very knowledgeable and fun. She made us laugh and feel so welcomed. We still think about her and the day we shared together.
This experience was a long busy day, but we totally recommend it. Great sites and even greater people!

Check-out from Bangkok for a 2-day bike tour from Ban Ko Kerd to Ayutthaya with many temple tours. Our Guide Boong shared his passion and a lot of information, thank you! We were wonderfully received for a night at the locals s house, a very good meal on a beautiful terrace, alone facing the river.

Omelet did our tour, she was super excited and could explain everything to us. She knows a lot about the history of this special place Ayutthaya. It was a beautiful ride, where we also became familiar with Thailand customs and “confectionery”! A beautiful memory and experience richer!

Well organized trip with expert guide. Well done Madame Boong.
The ruins seen at night are magical.
We recommend booking for the weekend, so the ruins outside the city are also open in the evening.

We did the afternoon Bike tour and the Boat Cruise in the evening. Everything was just perfect, from the organisation, the places we visited and the historical information we received. Boong was one of the friendliest tourguide we‘ve met during our journey in south-east Asia so far. She kept us well entertained, informed about the history, surprised us with little extras here and there and even gave us plenty of tips for our further journey. Genereally, we can only recommend seeing the temples with a guide instead of going alone and the bikes were a nice possibilty to get around in the ancient town. Thank you once more for an unforgettable day, Boong!

P'Boong our guide was brilliant. Warm, genuine, funny and very good at her job. Her enthusiasm was infectious and she obviously loves what she does. We had a great 2 hour bike tour followed by a lunch river cruise ending the day with a massage. My wife has hardly ridden a bike on UK roads let alone Thai but it was easier than expected and P'Boong looked after us brilliantly. Thank you for giving us such a great experience. Recommended.

The half day tour on Bike is an excellent way to explore the city's most important sights and get a good historical background. Definitely better than visiting the historical sights alone and read infos from tables. I can highly recommend the tour guide Bung. She kept the tour very entertaining and helped organizing the rest of my stay in Ayutthaya.

I could not have asked for a better bike & boat tour around Ayutthaya. Boong was so informative & helpful with our group & made us feel like family! We biked around to all the major temples & had fun & informative stops along the way. I can’t recommend this experience enough :)

Hi, how do we book this trip, and how much is the cost involved? Is there an itinerary for us to browse through?
Thanks.

The boat normally travels around Ayutthaya city which is like an island. If you have the city map, you can see how the boat will travels through.

Hi! Is it possible to do the sunset tour as a day trip and travel back to Bangkok that same night? Or do you recommend staying in Ayutthaya for the night?

I would just like to know how much do I have to pay for the rent of a bike for a day and does it include safety gears such as helmet as well?
Written 5 April 2016
If you do a tour the bike is provide as well as safety gear, otherwise most guest houses have bikes and there are several places you can rent bikes near the ferry.

I would like to know how the tour covers and cost. It's not one of those rush one's where you don't get time to take everything in.and can I book on line on there web site. Thanks.
Written 6 June 2015
My wife and I did the tour a few months ago. You have plenty of time and are never rushed during the tour. The guide even gives you extra time to explore and look around each site and take photos. You can book it on line just search Ayuttahaya Boat & Travel.

We are a family of four, is there a larger room option to accommodate all of us, instead of renting two separate rooms?
Written 30 May 2015
Hello
Do all the rooms have moustiquaires and if no ,which one ?
Which rooms are situated near the sea and no on the other side of the road ?
And which kind of rooms do we have to reserve for 5 persons with an adolescent of 6 years and 4 adults ?
Thank you
Mama

Hello,
I will be staying in Ayutthaya for 3 days and I like to take a boat tour. Can you give me some info on how long the tour is, how much it costs for 1 person, and how I can find you. Also, do you have a tour that goes to Bang Pa palace? I cannot join a bicycle tour.
Please, send me your address .
Thank you
Barbara
