This national park has lots of Animals. From the Masinagudi - Ooty or Masinagudi - Gundlpet road, you can easily spot Deers, Elephants, Bisons, Moongoose, Monkeys & birds like Brahminy Kite, Peacock etc. You can also do a Elephant or Bus safari. A must place to visit.

I had a truck drive in mudumalai. You can see the wild life by travelling inside the forest. Elephants, Deer, Bear. Mudumalai is a dense forest which is located on the way to ooty to coodalor. Preplanning is not needed but trecking will not be allowed after 4pm .

Feels like another world. Absolutely breathtaking. Tiger Reserve Office is cash only. 45-minute safari by bus is around Rs. 150. We arrived at 2:30PM for an afternoon safari and had to wait about an hour until at least 20 participants had purchases tickets. Elephant Safari is around Rs. 900 and starts from 4PM. Had drove through Mudumalai National Park on the way to Ooty from Mysyru. You can watch Deers gazing just on the roadsides. Saw Wild Elephants, Peacocks, Monkeys. Don't waste money on Jeep Safari from the locals. You can't see anything other than, mentioned above. It will cost you Rs. 450 per person.

We drove through this sanctuary when staying here. Saw most of the animals right on the road. Elephants, deer, monkeys, peacocks, gaur. Was very green and beautiful. My two year old loved it!!
