On the way to Munnavanur Lake, there is this point where you get an entire view of Poombarai Village. The views are stunning. There is a very old temple in the village which can also be visited. There is a Italian cafe near this view point which serves really good food with this view - Passiflora Art Cafe.

We were told that this village is 2500 years old but it looked nothing like that. It was just like any other village. The temple in the center was small and looked old. There were people selling locally grown garlic and peas outside the temple and the prices were quite a deal. Unless you need to visit the temple, it is not worth going into the village. However, from a distance, the village and its terraced cultivation fields look awesome and make for great pictures.

View from the top is awesome. The step farming and the lush green site was a treat to the eyes. Clouds covering the mountains was bonus.
