Danish Display was started in 1995. In the beginning it was a small shop now it has grown to be one of the biggest craft shops in Kodaikanal. Most of the International Tourist Guides have Dansh Display name in their travel guides and all the details. Danish Display the name reminds you to authentic and exquisite handicrafts at Kodai. Danish Display is devoted exclusively to hand-made craft from the length and breadth of India, thus keeping alive the extravagance and splendor of India's traditional artistic heritage. The union of nature's texture with man's creative spirit and artistic passion results in the birth of the various artifacts you will find in our shop. They are infact, the exalted creators of master artists and carftsman. A list of some of our elegant displays include unique Terracotta miniatures, Ethnic wood craft made of Rosewood, Sandalwood etc., which have an antique finish and feel, Metal Craft, Onyx and Marble Craft, Pottery, Leather Wares, Perfumes Candles, Floating Candles, Non-toxic special Agarbathies, Natural Aromatherapy oils, Semi-precious stones, Malas, Pendants, Key Chains, Silver Jewellery, Vases, Lamp Shades, Intricate Paintings, beautiful handloom sarees made in tradition that date back to 500 years, Shawls spread with exquisite tribal and much more. We been to this as we had to use ATM, it is right opp to SBI ATM. the shop has very good collection, antiques and crafts as well, we wery happy to buy potpourri which comes with an sandal perfume for 150 rupees, and wooden bowl is for 500, we have taken plenty of them to gift our near and dear...

Never visited a shop with lots of stuff which I never expected in kodaikanal.Seriously, antique collectors and art enthusiastics don't miss this place.With caring staff and discounts i can assure that Danish is one of the best craft shops in kodaikanal.

It was a thrilling experience shopping at the beautiful place. With each and every little.thing I saw I could see the faces of my daughters who would love to shop from this place. I could not control and went on shopping spree a refreshing experience.

Due to trip advisor reviews went to thus place. There are alot of things, antiques etc..but many products are rusty so be careful. Our trouble started wen we told them we need our fragile items to be packed as we are taking international flights. Wrapped my items in 1 layer of almost deflated bubble wrap. Next they combined all my friends n family purchases in 2 bags when we told the staff, we are heading towards different items how will the items be separated. Staff said "only 2 complementary bags". But we are totally different groups. After an argument-which the useless boss was watching but never do anything. My dad said I'm not asking for free bag, I'm asking for bag for the items I purchased , reply from staff was must share n we must figure out how to separate our items (only this shop had such ridiculous reason). Only wen we offered to pay for extra bags, we were told its 50 rupees per bag-which they nv say the first place. My tour guide told us that not many ppl drop by here anymore as the standards of the items maintenance had dropped drastically as well as combining purchases among different family casing arguments to break out! BTW u can gt similar at pondicherry. Well packaged n very well maintained shops!

As per my experience kodaikanal is a small place. But this shop is really big and good verities also. Thanks to altius nest staff they only suggest this shop

This shop has one of the best pieces on display. Their reasonable price is a great add-on to their shop. I was really satisfied buying some cool pieces of craftwork from there. I'd highly recommend a visit.

Hi,
I purchased fruit face pack and almond face pack from Danish display kodai a month back. When I apply the face packs my skin burns for sometime and then it is fine.Is this the inherent nature of the face packs.? Could you please let me know the ingredients in the facepack.

Thanks for getting in touch. The fruit face pack we sell is completely natural. So no harm it will do. Still if you find being allergic to it I would suggest you to refrain from using it. You can try other face packs we have. Let me know if you want us to send different one.
