Well, my class and Mr. David had come to this place, basically for a graded assignment. The place is small for a Museum, but it's got some pretty scary snakes. We went in the morning so it wasn't really crowed, just our class and 3-4 other people. Pretty interesting tho, wouldn't recommend for kids, as they have a preserved baby... More

Museum, from what I know, is a place where they conserve items. Here, I feel everything is duplicate and are man made. They have placed all types of snakes in bottles, human kid's growth (fetus) - every month possibly till it's nine months. And all insects, eggs and snake skins. Most of them look like they made it. it is 100 year old museum. Small Museum but good collection and well maintained, it is one the way to Kodaikanal. Any visitor can see this .

Really well preserved items .. lots of insects and butterflies . the staff is pretty awesome ,,well maintained visit in the evenings

The museum is a small one and perhaps one of the first few places you would end up visiting if you engage a local tourist operator. Though this museum was small, I can guarantee that you will be happy that you did go to this place for the rich collection it has. Starting from snakes to butterflies to animal skins... More

definitely worth visiting, an under-rated venue, especially for the kids. most people might skip it, but its easy to wch on the main route...

This is really a beautiful musuem good collection and lots of hard work in their creation ........ much to see.....or you cannot say that all are general things

You could see some items like saw fish bone, some extinct moths here. Seeing the preserves are a bit scary.

All students and those who are interested into a walk back into the past must visit this place. They charge a meager amount only as entrance free. Ample car park. Well kept, each exhibit well labeled. Really worth a visit. Many rare exhibits like trunk of a 125-year old tree, urns from stone age, vertebra of python, etc. We can... More

Such a good place in Kodaikanal for informative purposes. There is lots of animals, Coins and other samples which are arranged in a single large room and maintained.
