Avoid living in the nearby area if you are on a short trip to Kodai. Morning prayers sound good a good idea from far but when you are staying in a close vicinity with a happy weekend in mind, well... be alarmed.

On sundays the never ending noise of bells and songs won't let you have peace of mind. But it is a definitely a place worth a visit once, considering its age (even if you are not a believer).

'Christ the King' Church is an old CSI church from the colonial era. As many other churches from the British age, this church too was of stone/granite build with stained glass. It was a tamil congregation at 9 AM service on Sunday. Coaker's walk is adjacent to the Church.

This old and historical church near the Coaker's Walk entrance is beautifully maintained. The serene ambience inside the church make the visitors offer prayer with great devotion. The glass work and architecture of the church also attract the tourists from outside. The parking near this church is difficult.

One of the old church in South India. If you are in Kodiakanal, you can visit this old, architecture church built by British. Well maintained, calm and peaceful.

Very old church, gives you a nice old castle feel almost. The brick work is beautiful, even the areas around it are nice to have a walk around.
