We went there on a Sunday afternoon after all the sight seeing. It was welcome change to the large crowds that we encountered at other sight seeing points. Pl check the timing of the temple and plan your trip. A little spiritual detour is always good break in an otherwise fulfilled touristy trip.

Was blessed to have an audience with Lord Murugan recently here at Kodai . I was really mesmerized and drawn to the big VEL at the entrance. The malai I bought automatically went to VEL . So blessed. The Lord at the main is such superb with cute little smile .In a split second the feelings was like as at PALANI itself.
The environment , shops and the people surrounding the temple were so humble and quite.
The road to the temple could be upgraded. Tq

This temple was small and cute, well maintained. It was peaceful to sit inside and relax for few minutes, I was also informed that we could see the Palani temple, but due to mist I wasnt lucky!

I love this temple and have visited many times. It is very neat and tidy which is a huge plus for me. Flowers are sold outside in cute little baskets and they are very reasonably priced.
The place itself is very peaceful and filled with good vibrations. Perfect for prayer or simply contemplation or introspection. Definitely recommend it!

Kurinji andavar temple is famous for the flower called "Kurinji" which blooms once in 12 years. The temple is peaceful, clean and well-maintained. Nice place to spend some time. Palani hills and Kodaikanal city can be viewed from this place

Great valley views from the temple. There are a lot of souvenir shops near the temple which have interesting picks.

This is a rather small temple and a lot of it re-constructed. The original temple must have been much smaller as evidenced by the old rock pillars. The newly built pillars have expanded the temple area. Nothing special here to see unless you are the religious type. You can get some views of the far away Palani hills.

We are not aware about this temple still we reach. Then we are surprise to see a lady picture ( that too a british type) inside the temple. Then we asked the story.
She is very much involved during british period tothis temple then she converted as hindu and even changed her name and she constructed this temple for LORD MURUGA. small temple but having good vibration. Inside the temple there is a KURINJI flower plant.
