Trip to Kodaikanal

Good place to visit. Serene and calm. Approach to this place is very cumbersome as roads are narrow and hilly terrain. You need a lot of patience to reach up there.

Its basically side view of the mountain which is very steep. So it looks like a pillar. There a view point to enjoy pillar rocks, nothing much to do there, just enjoy the fog and great valley view

So I visited here about 2 weeks ago and although a very nice view, it has been very much over commercialised. When you go there are swarms of people there making it near impossible to take a photo without someone's head popping up somewhere! You also get a view of the same rocks from guna cave which has a view... More

Pillar Rock are the three rocks close to each other which look like 3 fingres together. There is an entry fee to enter the park which is open till 5.30 pm. The pillar rock can be seen from outside also as its only the top portion of the Rock to be seen.
