This fort is grand and has a solid history to back it up. The place is pretty well maintained. You need a guide to be able to better understand its history. The views are really fantastic. Amazing place.

Small hotels (basically houses of local residents) are not a good bet. Staying outside fort will also help you to cover more places nearby to Chittorgarh.
