The magic of the cone of the artist's brush. That's how real magic is born. Always nice to see it. All best wishes for your pictures!

On my trip to India I found the shop of Mukesh Sharma in Bundi. We got into the conversation and he showed me some of his self-painted pictures. I was very impressed with this special kind of painting and Mukesh is a loving and interesting man.
I can highly recommend a visit with him.

We met this artist while we travelling by bus from Jaipur to Bundi. On our way we already find out that he was a special person. When we arrived in Bundi and while walking around we came by his atelier/gallery. It was very nice to see how dedicated this man is and how incredibly precise in the way that he makes the art pieces. While being with him and his wife we had very nice talks about our common interest in art and about each other's countries. We will definitely remember his work and this special moment.

We met each other in the bus from Jaipur to Bundi.

Mukesh told us about his work as an artist and we visited his shop in Bundi and saw his amazing work. Mukesh is a really nice person and dedicated to his work. From 9 am to 9 pm he is making his art.

His wife who is also a really friendly person and good cook invited us on our last day in Bundi for dinner.

We ate to gether and hope we will meet again in the future!!

If you come to visit Bundi, you must make some time and go see Mukesh. He is a very special man, warm hearted, truly interested in getting to know you, give you a good advice, and if you'd like - also to sell you some of his gorgeous paintings. We enjoyed sitting with him, drinking Chai and even left with some presents to our friends back home. Really recommended!

While walking the streets of Bundi, Mukesh's beautiful art caught my eye. Mukesh quickly greeted me and invited me in to have a look over a cup of chai (some of the best chai I've had in India, actually). His miniature paintings on vintage Indian paper and postcards are intricate and beautiful. They are also very affordable! I walked away with quite a stack to bring to friends and family back home... And a few for myself :) Mukesh is such a genuine and talented artist, don't miss out on supporting his craft. He may even write your name on a grain of rice for you!

This was the perfect place to stumble upon! Mukesh is such a talented and honest artist and being a painter myself, I can say he's got skills. You'll find work like his in souvenir shops saying they are hand painted with natural colors, but they are printed and rip offs. This guy is the real deal and it was perfect to find great gifts for my family and friends without adding weight or bulk to my pack. He's honest and fair with his prices and deserves every cent!
