This Palace is not so well looked after,but still intersting to visit. Its a very long walk to get there and the stones on the way up are very slippery. But its ok.

Chhatra Mahal talks rich of the era bygone but has not been maintained at all. It looks almost haunted and people refrain from visiting. Better upkeep is necessary.

Chhatra Mahal is on the western side of Bundi Palace and is one of many palace/ mansions of Garh Palace. To enter here one has to walk from Hathia Pol and Ratan Mahal. Chhatra Mahal was more like a haram of Bundi emperor where the queens use to live and only the maharaja or their sons were allowed to enter.... More

Chhatra Mahal is part of Garh Palace. You need not take a separate ticket. It is in bad state of preservation. The hall inside veranda has a door with ivory inlay work. The frame around the door has mirror inlay work. The walls have many paintings in cupboards/jharokhas but they hare not good state. This must have been a real... More
