Felt the shirks and cries of the dying and injured people of Punjab who fell to the bullets of the British ruler, General O Dire. Felt the anger of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore who refused the Knighthood conferred by British Raj in the protest of the killings. History never forgets and time has taught the Britishers, the lessons.

Jallianwala Bagh !! This is something which we read in our history books in school. To be physically present and to walk through the ground is quite an experience. The entire park, the well and the surrounding walls are well maintained. One can read the whole incident and also there is a painting depicting the brutal scene after the firing. It... More

If you are interested in history this is the place in Amritsar where you need to be.
