before entering the temple complex is an audio visual which shows the history of the golden temple from before construction to current date through the "eyes" of this tree over the centuries. then when one does go to tree u almost feel that its alive

We can make Buildings but not Trees. Owning its space in Mandir reflects the strength of Tree by its own. Worth to observe and spend some time there and do not ignore its presence at such Holy Place.

Dukh bhanjan beri, one of holy place n tree in Golden Temple and about 450 years old. Maintains by Punjab Agriculture University,Ludhiana and with their efforts realive this holy tree.

It is believed that a dip here wards off evils and sins. Situated right behind the main golden temple in the Complex. There is a ber tree which is not of big size but any local visitor can guide you to the Ber Tree
