Being one of the Jyotirlingas is good enough a reason to visit this place. But, apart from that, there is ancient mystery to this place which attracts you. The Nilgiri & Brahmagiri Parvat find their mention in Ramayana and ancient mythology are are very enchanting....More

Its a good drive to the temple. Going there during non festive days will make it more interesting. Monsoons is the best time for going there.

Superb temple with beautiful view, a month ago The ride to this mesmerizing shrine is undoubtedly stunning. There's greenery everywhere. The temple is very old but has a magnificent architecture. Monday's are usually crowded. Lockers available for mobile phones and cameras and bags.

WIth VIP ticket the darshan should be over in minutes. Without it it can take upto an hour. However, these timings are when there is no special occasion.

I agree with others that it is better to stay in Nashik and travel to Trimbakeshwar. It is a very short and convenient commute if you have your own vehicle.
