The temple is located on Gangapur road and is on outskirts of city, situated on banks of river Godavri. Its crowded on holidays as it has become a good picnic spot nowadays. One can enjoy some time with family. Also boat rides are available for river.

One of the best place in nasik where you can witness religion and nature together. Visit the Someshwar Mahadev Shrine, take his blessings, have a boat ride on the Godavari River and just sit around. Small kids can enjoy a toy train ride also. Those who like Guava (known as Peru here), do try it, its very good.

One of the most loved and peaceful place for me in Nashik. Whenever I feel low I find myself here and I always leave Re energised. Love this place and the temple situated on bank of river godavari. There are activities like boating for small kids and little adventures can have a dip in river when water is discharged from... More

One of the best place in Nashik. It offers peaceful time and some religious activity. It is also one of the oldest Shiv temples in Nashik. Sometimes you get to enjoy boating.

Visited this ancient Shiv temple onGangapur road to perform ritual of Pind daan of my grand n.a.. The flowing mighty Godavari ,Shiv temple and aura of this place makes it most desirable place for such rituals. Most recomended to visit ,once at Nashik. I would love to perform rituals here rather than going to Panchwati .
