The temple is in the middle of the city. Vast premises. You can park four-wheeler inside the temple complex, where a dharmshala is also there. There are shops in between this place and the main temple. The temple was not crowded when we visited. It is a very big temple, and there are replicas of 12 jyotirlingas there. But no photography is allowed inside. The temple premises are neat and clean. Entire verses of Bhagwat Gita are inscribed on the walls.

Muktidham Temple is a famous shrine situated close to railway station at Nasik. It is constructed using clean white marble. The shining color itself indicates its religious dedication and tranquility. This white marble is called the Makrana from Rajasthan and the work was done by Rajasthani sculptors, which is a rare architectural type. [When I was viewing these lively paintings, it made me remember the paintings at newly developed ‘Omthara kalakuteer’ in Bangalore. ‘Omthara Kala Kuteera’ is situated in Basavanahalli village in Magadi taluk in Ramanagara district. It is at about 40 kms from Bangalore and may take one hour to reach the spot from Bangalore. For art lovers it is a heaven like spot to see and enjoy the upcoming paintings which are all of Hindu culture and gods.]
The most wonderful thing that attracted my devotional attention was the 18 chapters of Srimad Bhagavad-Gita engraved on the walls of this temple. Hindu devotees believe that a visit to this holy shrine is equal to visiting the four sacred shrines of Lord Vishnu. They are Badrinath, Dwarka, Jagannath and Rameswaram, where Adi Shankaracharya has established four centers. But in Delhi char-dhaams means Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
I could see here many gods worshipped by Hindus and because of its importance, it is a popular tourist attraction. It is managed by a Religious charitable trust. I learnt that it was built by the liberal donation given by an industrialist and philanthropist late Sri J. D. Chauhan in 1970-71.
There are beautiful idols of 12 Jyothirlingas. I have visited all the 12 Jyothirlingas. I find a similarity in these idols and the originals. Wonderful as it is, they look like replicas of the originals. It is actually a complex of various Hindu deities. The temple dedicated to Lord Krishna in this Muktidham complex has been painted depicting scenes from sacred book on Lord Krishna’s life as described in Bhagwatha.
There are deities of Lord Vishnu, Mother Goddess Laxmi, Rama, Seetha and Laxman, Hanuman, Mother Goddess Durga and most popular Lord Ganesha and others. During the season of “Kumbh Mela” there will be heavy rush of devotees. Thousands of devotees visit this shrine every year.
After visiting this complex of many temples I felt that one who visits this place and takes darshan of so many deities at a stretch would be really lucky and sure to have the divine grace as well.
The trust is maintaining a dharmashalas wherein more than 200 pilgrims can be accommodated. This temple complex is located at a distance of 8 km from Central Bus Stand of Nasik. The five grand old Banyan trees (Panchavati), Kalaram temple, Seetha Gumpha, Thapovan, the place where Laxman severed the nose of Surpanakha and other attractive environments around are added attraction to this tourist important place in Nasik.
The nearest Airports to Nasik are at Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Aurangabad. There are public and private buses, cars and taxis from all the neighbouring cities to reach this beautiful spot. Nasik can be reached using services of frequent train services from Aurangabad and Mumbai and also other cities of Maharashtra. Package tours to these Temples are also arranged by tourist operators.
In Nasik you will get traditional Maharashtrian cuisine like Rajasthan, Gujarat and South Indian food. There are a range of restaurants with cuisines of Punjabi, Chinese and European taste. There are plenty of Lodges and Restaurants to provide food and accommodation to the visitors.

When visiting Nashik this is a must visit place.
Muktidham is a replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas, which have been built as per dimensions of original deities and have been sanctified by sending them to their respective pilgrimage centers. The temple is made with marble from Makrana in Rajasthan, and by Rajastani sculptors. Unique to this temple are eighteen chapters of Geeta written the walls.

This famous temple is located near Nashik station, just 7 kms from the city. The Muktidham Temple is pure white, the colour signifying holiness and peace. White Makrana marble was used to build this temple which has very unusual architecture. Unique to this temple are the 18 chapters of the Gita written on the walls. A visit to this temple by Hindus is considered as a visit to the 4 dhams or holy centres.

The Dharmshala Bldgs In the Muktidham Temple Complex Provide Cheap Rooms
by Cleaniness is a issue , Hope they look into it And improve the quality of the rooms .
