Excellent place for a day out in Mumbai. We started by around 9.30 Am from gate way of india. The boat journey was superb. My kids like it so much. It took around 1 hour to reach elephanta. Then the toy train was really helpful....More

These caves are a amazing bit of history. Well worth the visit. The ferry was a pleasant trip , from the Gateway of India. Which was also worth a visit. Very busy place great atmospheric.

This is a good place to visit ,if you enjoy the Hindu temples then it's good . I recommend you get a guided tour as we did as the guide can explain the different status and significant of each carving.

You have to buy ticket for you at Gate Way of India. Many small ships/boats are there. No need for special or prior booking.
