Mayura Ayurvedic Centre at Munnar was established in 1994 and offers excellent service in Ayurvedic Treatments and Massage. Mayura is a well known Ayurvedic centre which is working as per the norms of the Government of Kerala. Mayura Ayurvedic Centre is a remarkable Ayurvedic Treatment Center where a blend of some selective Massage work the worry of you , utilizing our own particular normal Ayurvedic oils , powders and herbs , which have and astounding therapeutic impact on your body , brain and soul.

    Good overall experience
    This is not a plush hotel type spa but definitely worth a visit to try out the Ayurvedic massage experience. Prices were reasonable compared to Europe but men and women are in separate rooms as they don’t do couples together. Overall experience was ok with all the various oils and steam baths so give it a try as they have a few centres in the Kerala region

    Get a real ayurveda massage elsewhere
    3500 rupees for two hours including about 10 minutes in a steam bath. Sorry I did it. Later in our trip I had a real ayurveda massage. There was no similarity between the real massage and the 2-hour massage at Mayura. Tourist trap. By the way, the real massage was done in a 5-star resort by two people for one hour and cost only 2500 rupees. The lower cost is not the reason that I recommend not going to Mayura. I record it here so that future travelers know the price at Mayura is not a bargain.

    This is not Ayurvedic or any other massage
    Speaking as a trained massage therapist this was very disappointing. Normally there is no such thing as a bad massage but this was extremely basic. Many students could achieve this level within a couple of weeks. Techniqu on but trust me go elsewhere. This is not the real massage experience.

I had massage here. That was very nice experience. A person named Jithu massaged me. He did well. Cost also affordable. I did whole body massage and steam bath for 75 mins which cost 1600 Rs only. Nice place to massage.

Thank you Mayura for a good massage. Prajeesh. It's simply the best massage experience of my life. Lipin knows his way around a man's body and what points he needs to work on. I would definitely recommend everyone to try it once. I had full body massage for 75 minutes, which includes 15 mins of steam.

Me and My husband had come for Kerela trip, had amazing authentic ayurvedic massage. Staff is very good, felt very relaxed and the best part its done under doctors supervision
