We approached Kerala Geographic Adventures with a seven day window and asked if they would be able to deliver tour for us (a family of four) with the aim of seeing birds and wildlife. Mr Kurian devised an excellent itinerary that covered a range of habitats in the Western Ghats. All the accommodation was good and we had comfortable car and a good driver provided. Mr Kurian accompanied us as our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable across a wide-range of disciplines including natural history, archaeology and local culture. We had a fabulous trip and hope to return

Thank you Raj for your wildlife expertise and looking after us. Well planned and executed tour. If you expect any luxury this is not the tour for you - when out in the forest for 4 days everything is basic (waterfall will be your shower, and the stream your bath) This is getting up close and personal with the western ghats and rainforest, wildlife and the great people of this country. Fantastic memories taken away with us. Hint, bring own sheets, toiletries and large backpack rather than a suitcase (leave suitcase at hotel and pick it up on return). Company owner Benny Kurian arranged the perfect tour for us, customized to our schedule. We'd been on a package tour of "the sights" (Taj Majal, forts, palaces, temples, mosques, etc.), but we wanted to see some of the nature of India as well. In three days, we got to explore high jungles and deserts, hiked along rivers and ridges, and stayed at both hike-in cabins and at the guest bungalow of an old British tea plantation. Benny was an excellent guide, pointing out elephants, lizards, gaur (Indian bison), birds, and even the rarest of Indian monkeys, many at close range. Assistant guides cooked simple but tasty food. It's a great counter-point to the common "bus, hotel, and tourist sights" tour!

We went on the 7 day Anamalai Tour which was amazing. Mr Benny was an excellent communicator beforehand and we were happy to transfer the deposit before the tour. The tour went to the Western Ghats and to different places every day. We stayed in a variety of places, some basic, some more luxurious but all excellent. Our guide Raj, was wonderful and his knowledge of birds and wildlife was superb. Mr George our driver was great and drove very safely. The food provided was simple but delicious. We saw so much. Colourful birds, giant squirrels, monkey, bison, deer, elephants. The value for money was very good. The organisation was perfect. There was only one disappointment when we were not allowed to walk in the jungle at one of the parks, though I think this was the fault of the rangers. . I would recommend Kerala Geographic Adventures.

We have just finished a 4 night, 5 day birdwatching tour with John and Benny. I found Benny online after searching for birding tours in Kerala. He customised a trip for us going to the places around the Western Ghats which offered the best chances to see endemic and migratory birds. We were very happy with the places he chose as it also offered an opportunity to see the stunning Ghat scenery and the tea and spice plantations. Benny is an amazing source of information on wildlife, geography, history, culture....almost anything. Mr. Binu was the driver and was a very careful driver and quite a good bird spotter himself. We had John for the first 3 days and spotted a good variety of birds. Would highly recommend Benny for organising wildlife tours in Kerala. He goes out of his way to make sure you get what you are after.
