The weather was wonderful. The driving from Bodimettu to Munnar was pleasant though on T.N.side between Bodinayakanur to Bodimettu the road is bit narrow and not paved properly. Stay at Abad Copper Castle added more spice to the trip with lot of greenery scene from the room. One disappointment is the Eravikulam national park was closed for visitors that time. Spent nice time in the evening at Blossom Hydel Park.

You can view it from a distance and drive right into it to get ample parking whether you are walking, driving a car or be in a big bus. They are probably making the entrance more conducive to the plenty of tourists that throng this area just about 2 km from the city center. The garden is located particularly along the roadside but along a picturesque site looking over a water body and the hills on one end and a beautifully landscaped garden with a winding river passing on the other end. There are beautiful plants, trees and flowers that are rare to find anywhere. Well kept gardens, plenty of landscaping with seats to savor them. There is also an aquarium that we did not visit. Plenty of places for children to enjoy but not averse for the grown ups or the couples. Centrally placed is a refreshment shop with tea, coffee, milk shakes and ice creams etc. A perfect place to enjoy the scenery, stretch your legs or have a recluse, hence, a place for anyone with any mood would enjoy.

we were on family tour to Munnar , but on 3rd day, we exhausted of sightseeing places so decided to have some quality time at blossom park!
but as compared to our last visit here 15 yrs back, the park was very different with very less number of flora and fauna.
very few tourist also.
but they have planted new plants, roses etc so I hope it will be as nice as before in few months!
few adventure games in park, zip line, rope way, etc, but charges were sky high, not worth.
no large trees so lot of sunlight in day time and you will feel the heat, so try the visit in evening time.
overall , an okay place.

It's a well maintained park in Munnar. Our kids enjoyed a lot in this park. We can relax in this park after hectic schedule of sight seeing. The entry ticket price is also very reasonable at Rs 40 each for adults and Rs 20 each for kids.

It is a park promoted by Kerela Hydel Tourism Centre, a venture of KESB. This park has some rides for children and a vast patch of green with play zones. Certainly not a tourist destination considering the other attractions of Munnar- more for the locals.
