One of the most brilliant thing ever scene
Nov 2021 • Family
All the performances here is just ourlt of this world. Only after watching them one realize what mastering a craft means. They are just brilliant and if you are in Munnar you just can't miss both katthakali and kalaripayattu performance.
Also it's a dying art and they are working hard to keep it alive. Support as much as you can.

Kalaripattu excellent, kathakali bad
Jan 2021 • Friends
Starting with what i loved the most which cannot be described in words is Kalaripattu ...genuinely a must visit ..their performance is breathtaking... I will give them 5 rating for their dangerous acts.
Next coming to kathakali, this was my second time watching kathakali and this was a let down. The actors did not know to express via facial expression.
Being trained bharatnatyam dancer, I can tell that in Karnataka the kind of dance the little girl did was taught to us within 6 months. She needs lots and lots of polishing. I'm sure shez some important persons daughter amongst the event organiser and hence must have given her a Chance so that she gains confidence.
The only thing i could watch in that expensive show is mohiniyattam...she was graceful and beautiful to watch.
Plz do not show such low standards as our cultural form of dance and spoil the art.
2 out of 5 for the kathakali show( entire marks only deserved by mohiniyattam dancer )
