It was a nice experience in matupetty dam owsme view and suprb climate enjoyed alot.......overall the stay and the view in mattupety was really fantastic...you can experience the place and climate in munnar with true felt heart

It's one of the best tourist spot in munnar. U can take good pics at the dam There are lots of stalls here to buy drink and snacks. If you're on your way up to Top Station, I'd definitely recommend stopping here and have a speed boat ride.

Mattupetty Dam is on the way from Munnar to the top station. The artificial lake surrounded by forrests is worth a quick stop for photos, and if you want to see a bit more / are looking for moderate thrill you can do the speedboating. 15 min fast ride across the lake behind the dam. It is one of the best place in Munnar. Boating was great. We were lucky to see wild elephants from the boat.

Vast expanse of water actually resembling more like a sea, and surrounded by mountains all around. Very picturesque setting.

It was a dam on our way to View point and Top station. There is nothing much to say about this. Its a normal water storage dam. There is a play out area where in kids will enjoy.

Visit to this Dam on a normal Sunny day is advisable as when the rain starts the ground become very slippery. Speed boat drive is thrilling.
