This is undoubtedly a must visit place, though not very popular among visitors. It Is very well organized museum where lots of antique verities of jewelleries, furniture, utensils, armories etc is very well preserved.

I could see only few of the halls with cloths and palkhis etc. as we went during its closing time. But I must say it is worth watching (Mutch watch item) when you visit Junagadh. Museum is open from almost 0930 to 1230 and 1530 to 1830.. remains closed on Wednesday, 2nd and 4th Saturday and public holiday

It is unfortunate that we do not value our heritage... Instead of maintaining it's grandiosity it is in the pits...the last Prince lives in Pakistan as was told by the guards...such a grand collection of elephants seats in pure silver..now full of dust and morano glass items etc etc , hunting equipment , jewellery coins etc. The main durbar hall... The place is closed on Wednesdays and I ended up being there on a Wednesday. So jjust took some snaps of the building itself which is pretty impressive. Wednesdays and every 2nd and 4th Saturday and public holidays the place is closed.
