The place is accessible by public transit. It's a good place to feel the variety of culture and history of Junagadh town. a must go place for history lovers. The local administration has recently started a light and sound show which is really great!

in junagadh there is quote. "Adikadi vav ne Navghan kuvo je na jue e jivto muo" means good ancient site which combination of well designed vav for water in past and buddh gufa is also a nice spot to visit.

There are many important places that can be visited in the fort. The buddhist caves/the canons/grainery/the well for water.

This Fort is very beautiful and it has so many ancient architecture in monuments inside this Fort. You have to buy tickets to visit this Fort. and from this fort you can see beautiful view of Girnar Top, Junagadh City and Sunset.

The oldest part of city,Uperkot which mean UPPER FORT.can be cover on foot.Over 2300year old,this historic and majestic forest has a number of places of interest.

It was a very nice place to visit with lot of historical details...There are lot of guides available who tell the story about each place...Good thing about this fort is you can go in your car only inside also..So walking​ will be less...It was amusing...More

It's old fort of navabs and kings of junagadh but it's still make u have goosebumps when u listens the story of the brave RA NAVGHAN AND RA KHENGAR and there is very beautiful view of girnal that's very impressive
