This fort is extremely pathetic, completely covered with garbage and filth. It's clogged with traffic, no systems in place. It is unfortunate to see utter disrespect and bad shape a heritage site can be in.

Uparcote, which comes in Junagadh, is an important place in the sights. In ancient times, Upakot, built by the Nawab of Junagadh, is an incredible model of the time-scale architecture.

A decent fort. Nothing fancy. But the view of Girnar is amazing and gives good photo opportunities. Recommended for a short duration. And yes, avoid the guide. No use.
