Must visit place in Bhuj along with Aina Mahal. It closes by around 5:30 PM so make it a point to go with atleast 2 hours in hand if you want to cover Aina mahal. Dont forget to take services of Pramodbhai he is a local guide and is very informative.

A wonderful structure. The central room where hundreds of lamps would have been lit during old times is a treat. Palace is a good learning for history buffs.

The durbar is amazing.Makes you imagine royally.Be wary of the visiting hours. To avoid huge student crowds come early. The steep stairway to the bell tower is aboslutely worth it for capturing the view of entire Bhuj town on your camera. Some areas clearly show the mark ,the famous earthquake left on this town and palace.

Prag mahal which was damaged in year 2001 earthquake is now restored in current avtar. Built in gothic style, its an impressive building where upkeep is lacking in number of places. We could enjoy more here as we hired a guide who was quite knowledgeable. We would recommend the visit for history lover, which would be better if done with... More

Can not think to compare with any Mahal of Rajasthan or even Hingol gadh, Nilam bag of Gujarat. Only few things in display . Renovation work (color) is below standard /bad shape, lacking in display of royal style or Levis style of Raja Maharajas except, photos which one can access through electronic media no need to visit photo gallary.

A place to visit if you are in Bhuj. must have been grand in hey-days but most of it is in bad shape after earthquake and due to lack of maintenance . Royal hall is the only part which is well maintained with pretty chandeliers, chairs and stuffed animals. There is a small but pretty collection of old photographs which... More

This palace is constructed in 1860 and the architecture style is Italian. There is entry fee for the same. There is one clock in the compound of this palace from where you can see entire view of bhuj city.

This palace is located besides Aaina Mahal and gives glimpse of the stuff used by the king and queen. If you go to Aaina mahal first, its highly likely that you won't find this place too attractive.

This is a attractive look mahal in the bhuj city... Outside it looks like a palace of a King... For getting inside anyone needs to buy entry ticket. There are old items of king inside the pragmahal... You should visit once you are visiting bhuj city...

You can imagine that this used to be a stunning place but most was destroyed during the earthquake of 2001 and the current stats is nothing but sad. The view from the tower is nice but the half rotten chased animals inside together with the rotten smell are not really worth seeing. Surprisingly no foreigner price so that even for... More
