Prag Mahal has lost its charm to poor maintenance. The artifacts/exhibits have got damaged may be due to natural wear-tear and no-upkeep. There are just warnings all around the place, and no information/history about the things you see. I would recommend to give it a skip.

The place has glorious past but sad present. Do visit just to get a glimpse of Kutch history. But most people would stroll out in no time. The place is dilapidated. I guess the earthquake did cause major damage here. But overall place is not well looked after.

Good experience. Could know about the rulers of Kutch. Standing at Tower gives a good experience, especially climbing through the stone spiral staircase.

Again this is an old home of Kings. Earthquake has damaged the building structurally. There are big cracks in wall and the tower is reinforced with a few pipes and some what looks like wires. Definitely looks very unsafe. I did not have guts to climb the tower like other locals. Mostly locals visit this place. Very dusty and lack... More

This is bang in the middle of the market in crowded area. This palace and the Aaina Mahal are in same compound although there are separate entrances and tickets and are different experiences. The visit gives glimpses of Royal life pre-independence as would be expected. It was also interesting to read about the Big clock and how it worked as... More

This is close to the Bhuj Museum. It's in a lane that has Swaminathan temple. Entrance ticket is Ra 30 per person and Rs 50 for camera. Beautiful entrance with a single marble wall art, and large artistic arched entrances. The Darbar hall on the first floor is well decorated with chandeliers, huge wall size mirrors, stuffed lion and other... More

We visited this Palace named Prag Mahal, located before Aaina Mahal in the same compound. Prag Mahal is a splendid palace made of Italian marble and sandstone. Prag Mahal leaves a spell bound impression to us with its structure, especially Corinthian pillars and Jali work. Inside the palace, tourists must climb the 45m high bell tower to have a mesmerizing... More
