Visited this Basilica several times. Can be crowded on the weekends or in the season. The place is a popular tourist attraction. There are many places to see around this Basilica. Do not miss the Ruins of St. Augustine if you are around.

Of the few churches left in Goa, this is the “must see.” The stonework is noteworthy as is the Jesuit history. The key feature is the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier.

Hi, there's no entrance charge for the church but mind the dress code - no shorts and sleeveless clothes for the guys or girls. The main Feast happens on 3 Dec every year with a 10 novena preceding it but nothing I'm aware... More
