Wonderful and historically important church in Old Goa which hosts the tomb of St Francis Xavier. Visit early in the morning to avoid the crowds, however for taking a picture of the beautiful front the afternoon light is much better.

A historical church built by Portuguese I guess. It still has body of famous pope which is visible inside glass. Can be skipped if you are in Goa for less days. It will take your half day to reach there, visit and come back.

Hi, there's no entrance charge for the church but mind the dress code - no shorts and sleeveless clothes for the guys or girls. The main Feast happens on 3 Dec every year with a 10 novena preceding it but nothing I'm aware... More
