This was my very first trip with Soul Travelling. I was a bit nervous about it having experienced the not so professional attitude of the overall service industry across Goa.
Though the entire team at Soul Travelling Goa kept surprising me at every stage right from booking till after the trail got over.

I faced some technical issues during payment stage while booking the trail and Clyde proactively reached out to me asking if I needed help. He helped me complete the bookings without any further hassles.

Jyoti promptly messaged me crisp and clear details making sure I have no issues reaching the starting point on the day of the trail.

Zahur and Nandini were the rockstar ambassadors who made me and another two guests feel so welcomed and comfortable right at the start which helped all guests really enjoy the whole experience.

Zahur is just 22 years old but he has a truck load of amazing stories and anecdotes which he shares with such ease that you almost feel transported into a different time in the past meanwhile Nandini keeps her eyes on the road and coming traffic to ensure everyone stays safe while enjoying the lovely stories while strolling on the streets of Margao admiring the colors and textures of rich history that flows through the city’s architecture.

Zahur and Nandini were the reason we all never realized where the 2.5 hours of the trail turned into 4 hours and we were still laughing like crazy having a ball and not feeling even tiny bit tired.

As if this was not enough, I received a pleasant surprise from Zahur the next day when he researched and promptly messaged me the answers of all the questions I asked him during the trail.

I am definitely going to do many more trails, walks with them and would highly recommend them to everyone.

We were given clear instructions where to meet and our guide was already waiting when we got there.
It was very interesting learning about the history of how the city of Panaji evolved over the centuries as well as learning about the different building styles utilised through the years. We stopped for a coffee and traditional pastries around 1/2 way which was a welcome relief of air con during the heat of the day. Onwards to visit the inside of a Goan home was super interesting. Pratik was an engaging and knowledgeable guide and I’d highly recommend both him and Soul Travelling. Great afternoon.

We requested to do the tour at 3.30 in the afternoon. In hindsight we’d have been sensible to go early in the morning as it was very hot.

I took the Aldona village tour with soul travelling and it was a very well curated tour.
The tour covered every aspect of the village and by the end if it, it did feel like a soulful satisfying experience giving us a glimpse of the beautiful village it's heritage and stories.
The host 'Darryl' was well versed with what he was doing and took us through the whole tour with a warn smile.
Each and everything was well planned and I loved the wholesome experience that soul travelling put in place for us

A very good and informative trail hosted by Nandini. Specially loved her flair in story telling and the warm reception which I received while visiting a heritage Goan house of Mr. Aires Andrade who was very happy to show the interiors and antiquities of his 180 year old property.

Soul travelling as a agency is doing a tremendous job in promoting Goan culture, food and heritage. It organises multiple experiences and trails across North and South Goa which unravel the offbeat, yet very interesting face of the state. I highly recommend them for what they are doing and also wish them best of luck for it.

I have been to quite a few of the Soul Travelling trails by now, and everytime I have been learning something new about each place I am visiting. All their trails are well planned and coordinated. The Soul Travelling team is a group of young, energetic and hard working youngsters, who are proud of Goa and its heritage. The guides are different on each trail, who are very passionate about the places they are taking to and very knowledgeable. You can choose from a wide variety of experiences; from interior villages, heritage houses, architecture, churches, mosques, festivals, markets, street food, local & tribal cuisines, popular towns & cities, and much more...

Highly recommended if you want to explore the real Goa.

We were looking to do a food walk in Panjim and decided to give the 'Secret Food Trail' by Soul Travelling a try.

The walk begins at the Panjim Post Office. Adolfina, our host, had specifically picked this spot to begin the tour because there's plenty of parking space nearby. It really made it convenient for us as we came in a self-drive vehicle.

Our host Adolfina is a local from nearby Sinquerim. She's seen the city change and lived through its history. With most guides you only get a pre-memorised script but that isnt the case with Adolfina.

She knows the city like the back of her hand. We got to hear so many interesting tales about every little nook and corner we passed. This is only possible when the guide really loves and understands the history of the place themselves.

The walk takes one through the latin quarter of Panjim past the Church of Immaculate Conception as well. There are 4 stops on the walk, ranging from a historic cafe frequented by locals to a bakery to even a place where we could try drinks with feni. There's truly something for everyone.

And as fun bonus, Adolfina even gave all the participants a goody bag!

Would definitely recommend this food walk for people who would like to explore the latin quarter with an excellent local guide.

Signed up for the Soul Travelling's Secret Panjim Food Trail and my what a treat it was.
Although, i have already been to almost all of the places in the trail, the content and stories the team uncover during the trail is mind-blowing and rare.

We had really enthusiastic hosts Joshua and Pratik that ensured everyone was safe as we strolled the hustle and bustle of the city as well as engaged throughout the trail.

Honestly this trail was one of the highlights of the Goa Heritage festival and kudos to the team for putting together such a well researched experience.

Definately coming back soon for more boys :)

I went to explore the Caves at Rivona with soul Travelling which was the most amazingly fun trail ever! The delightful Zahur our host was so much fun to go with, he was full of little stories about the place and kept our spirits up throughout with his infectious energy. The trail itself was so peaceful, I never imaged Goa to have this different side to it which was eye opening. The traditional breakfast they served was also very delicious, followed by the walk across a local Goan farm. The highlight was the last spot we went to, it was so beautiful, hidden in the middle of nowhere sourrounded by trees, a small lake and the sounds of birds. Zahur was kind enough to stay with us over and above his assigned time too which is awesome, and much appreciated by me.

Thankyou soul travelling for these incredible memories.

Thank you for organising the trip to the festival in Mandur/Dogrim.

1. Instructions given were it’s a driving trail and not a walking trail but we walked almost 4 Kms after parking. There was no communication regarding change of plan from driving to a walking event.

2. At the meeting point at Pilar, we were told we are driving to a village parking which is 4/ 5 minutes away. It took a good 20/25 minutes to drive out to the village parking.

3. After driving straight for a bit, the leader leading the convoy of vehicles, without giving an indication stopped the two wheeler at the junction. As I was right after him I stopped too. Vehicles started merging from all four corners. Without giving direction the leader on the two wheeler made a sharp right and sped off. To avoid a traffic jam I drove out straight till I was assisted back through very narrow roads to the village parking.

4. The walk was languorous with too many halts at insensitive points. They had to be told to move to the shade. Everything was in slow motion, the walk, the halts, the dialogue!! It took four hours to cover almost 3.7 kilometres which made it very uninteresting and tiring.

5. Needless to say it was a pleasure meeting Sahil and his family which served us a wonderful dinner made by the ladies of the house.

5. All in all the trip could have been made more interesting and inspiring. I hope the feedback will be taken in the right spirit as I truly wish Soul Travelling to do well.

Hello Vandana, Thank you for your response, and welcome to the Soul Travelling Family. We are gutted that the experience turned out the way it did for you, and we're sorry for the same. We would also thank you for a comprehensive feedback, and we shall try to take this positively. However, we would like to share the story from our point as well for a clear understanding :) 1. The message about Walking Trail was communicated to all participants including you via WhatsApp, and the same was showed to you by the host at the trail. This was as the village is barricaded without entry to any vehicles during the festival. 2. The distance between the meeting point and the start point is approximately 8 minutes ( As can be made out on Google Maps ) . However, we understand we had to travel for around 15 minutes due to traffic around the festivities. 3. As the turn to move towards the village had traffic, we decided to take it and then wait for the others. However, we understood the confusion and Mayuresh from the team immediately moved along to escort you back. Being a village, the roads are narrow and the traffic can get difficult to manage. 4. We tried our best to curate a walk that included stories about the village, the reason for celebrating the festival, getting the participants involved in the festival by playing music along with the locals and some authentic local delicacies . However, we will try to improve on the curation and make sure the trail is better in future. 5. Thank you for your kind words and the entire feedback. We tried our best to curate an experience around a traditional festival, and sometimes things are not it our control keeping the local sensitivities in mind. However, we take your feedback and will make sure the experience is much better for everyone involved. Once again, we are glad to have you as an integral part of the Soul Travelling Family Vandana ❤️ Love, Soul Travelling Team
