Stories can be told by anyone. Literally any person can just memorize lines and narrate it like a well oiled machine.
But that wasn't and isn't the case with the ambassador for the day, that is Mr Frazer Andrade. If the saying "stories are as good as the people who tell them" true, then it was certainly the case today as Frazer just left me in awe with the rich knowledge that he possesses not only about Goa but also about the art and architecture of the tropical state.
Not to mention the Houses starting from the Braganza house and the Fernandes house; wonderful to finally visit these places after wanting to experience them for the better part of 20 years.
Wonderful trail with a lot of lovely elements and to top it off with the poha and samosa at flames was a cherry on what was a delight of a day.
Thankyou soul travelling!!!!!!

Great experience. Koonan was a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide. We loved the tour. His historical knowledge, combined with anecdotes were superb.

It was a really memorable trip we have not explored GOA in this way . Especially our ambassador Mr Koonan was a really nice fellow. He treated us very well like a family and we really enjoyed a lot with him. The best part of trip was the breakfast at local goan family Mr Gotankar and feni tasting.We will explore other tours in our next visit

It was a fantastic trip and I am really glad that we chose Soul Travelling, as the expert who conducted the tour was so good, passionate and full of exuberance, which added to the whole touring experience much value.

Being a kid I always wondered how beautiful the indo Portuguese houses must be and finally got a chance to go on a trail and experience it. It was a beautiful experience indeed. And our host Pankaj made it more exciting for us. Houses of Goa trail is one of the most beautiful trail one could experience.

We met Adolfina for a few hours tour in Saligao village and we spent the entire afternoon discovering hidden places and listening to stories. She is a very knowledgeable and truly passionate about local stories and history. We could not have asked for anything better.

It was great to visit the island and learn its history. Our ambassador Koonan had a wealth of information and anecdotes while the boatman Sartej pointed numerous birds. For me the boat ride around the mangroves was the highlight of the trip.

The Goa Raj Bhavan heritage tour was a fantastic experience. It was organized and curated by Soul Travelling.
The tour comprised of a detailed walk around the sprawling estate. The places open for the public were the chapel, the museum, the gardens, the cannon point and a few other spots. The views of the sea from several viewpoints were absolutely breathtaking.
The tour was conducted by Adolfina, who is a wonderful and extremely knowledgeable tour guide. She shared very interesting pieces of information along with curious trivia, during the course of the tour. She was happily taking questions and had answers to everything.
The tour was for around 3 hours, and it involved some driving around to see the various points of the estate, which were not within walkable distance of each other. The drive within the extremely well maintained premises in the midst of the trees was calm, serene and soothing.
Overall, the tour was a really fun experience, because one gets to see this rarely seen side of Panaji. It was a privilege to be allowed into the Raj Bhavan premises for this. Well conducted, well organized, well curated and well planned.
