Located in the heart of West End, Coconut Tree Divers is the oldest PADI IDC Centers on the island. The shop offers four daily dives: the morning boat leaves at 9:00 AM for two dives and returns at around 12:30 PM. The afternoon dives go out at 1:00 and 2.30 respectively. Night dives are available every Tuesday and Thursday. The shop's second boat, Wish U Were Here, is dedicated for cruise ship visitors on various cruise ship schedules. There is the option of a one day experience program, PADI Discover Scuba Diving, for those who want to try scuba diving for the first time. The program involves some basic theory in the classroom, a short session in shallow confined water, followed by a 45 - 60 minute dive in the afternoon. The shop's friendly, experienced staff will guide you through the various dive sites in Roatan's reef system. Nitrox and Trimix are also available. Snorkelers are also welcome.

This was my third time diving in Roatan. There are a good number of people doing various levels of training. Great place for a solo diver. There is beer o'clock after the last boat comes in for the day. Friendly atmosphere. Gay, the owner is...More

Coconut Tree is the real deal. No fluff: no color-coordinated titanium hyperstretch wetsuits with matching fins and BCD's. Just diving for the enjoyment of diving on one of the nicest reefs in the western hemisphere. The instructors are knowledgeable and passionate and will tailor dive...More

The diving was spectacular! The Master Divers were professional and knowledgable. We saw sea horses, rays, octopus, and 3 different types of sea turtles. One trip, we jumped off the boat and there were 2 turtles below the boat. Oh yeah, what about those string...More

With only a little more than 24 hours to spend on Roatan, I wasn't sure I'd get more than one dive in, but this shop made sure I had three amazing dives. They were friendly knowledgeable and welcoming. Even though I showed up right at...More

After an insane amount of research, I settled on Coconut Tree thanks to the consistently high reviews. I got my Open Water certification right before coming to Honduras, and was traveling without a buddy, so I was very nervous about my first "real" dives. Monty...More

I wouldn't recommend Coconut Tree Divers. Three of us made four dives with them, and the smallest number of people we had on a dive was 11 (and that was for one divemaster). Our divemaster was not really into his job. He didn't point much...More
