The hike from the hotel to Semuc, climbing up to the Mirador and then jumping into the ice-cold pools, all make for an unforgettabe experience. It was the best experience in Guatemala.

It's a serie of natural pools (7 in total) with clear water and spiritual contact. Getting there is really hard. I went from Antigua starting at 6 am. By 6 pm we were arriving to town but more time was needed to get the pools...More

This is a Guatemalan wonder! Simply beautiful. A place where you can spend the whole day. There are natural water pools with turquoise colored water to enjoy swimming. The only little con is the access, as it is a dirt road, but is totally worth...More

Magnificent place, crystal clear waters hopping from pool to pool and even with a bit of a body manicure from the little fish that eat the dead skin (they don't hurt at all).

Loved the place; the pools are amazing with colorful ecosphere. Also the surroundings (viewpoint, cave and river) are top! Definitely worth the effort to get there.

I have traveled all over the world and Semuc Champey ranks among the most beautiful places I've ever been. One unexpected experience which I believe will stick with me even longer than visiting the pools was the ride to Lanquin in the back of the...More
