Is a treacherous 9 hour ride, on bumpy, narrow roads with crazy drivers. However, being in the jungle, seeing the monkeys and their babies, seeing the park and pools in the beautiful river, hearing the birds and bugs singing and hiking the hillside to the view are with it all. 50quatzels to enter the park. Sun hits the pools around... More

Get a ride out from the main town to the waterfalls and charge your cameras!! The waterfalls provide so many beautiful photo opportunities, also the locals gather and want to interact so be kind patient and friendly :) AMAZING views from the top hiking spot too so worth the stairs!

Beautiful scenery. Each pool has its own energy. It was lovely to walk through th forest, with a sense of its guardians, and the the waterfall at the highest point...then enter the pools and go from one level to another. Magical.

Gorgeous landscape, fun hikes to explore. The turquoise pools were amazing! Caves were very cool to explore - you must explore the caves with a tour guide ps.

We only had 2 days in this area, so we opted to stay in Coban and do a day trip. This meant that we got to travel to Semuc in a comfortable 4x4, rather than in the back of an uncomfortable pick up. Also, the next day we were closer to Flores and reduced our bus trip by 2.5 hours!... More

A most impressive geological / waterway setting. Warm water (with feet-nibbling fish!), a strenuous hile however up to the mirador (certainly worth the effort though); plan for a good day's outing if want to make the most of the place.

The must do thing in Guatemala without a doubt. It's hard to get there on bumpy dirt roads but once you arrive you will be amazed.

It is a beautiful place and very easy for a DIY. There are many tours offered, but not necessary at all. You can get your ticket, walk the trail yourself. And after that swim and just relax. We also did the cave-tour and that was one of the best experiences ever! The Semuc park is on the right of hostel... More

Very nice and fresh Air in the woods. Spent a quite muddy and steep climb to the top and had a wonderful view of the whole place. Definitely enjoyed it and recommend !
