I enjoyed seeing fishermen living in this area. The atmosphere were something I had never experienced. I am from the USA and felt like I am in an ancient city.

The lagoon is filled with lots of fishing pirogues as the fishermen are either getting set to go on an expedition, or returning from one. You can see some washing their nets, etc.

Beautiful view from the limited space that is currently accessible. Construction of a bridge has cramped part of the area. So many pretty boats or dhows with all manner of names!
